Meditating on the First Ten Hail Marys.

We have read many things about Mary, and we like to see her as doing what we might be doing.

These are what we meditate upon, we see her as an ordinary woman of her time, going about her life, yes she is Holy, very Holy of all women she is blessed. Yet she was just like any other Jewess of her day, bethrothed to Joseph and contented with her life. Then

The Annunciation Preparing your Journey.

Anticipation, even Mary had no idea that what was going to happen.

Think about that.

Beautiful your first Hail Mary now repeat 10 times, count them.

The Annunciation

What does the Annunciation mean to you?

How would you behave in the situation that Mary is suddenly placed in.

A Stranger with Eyes of Flames announces himself to her as an Angel.

She is a Jewess she is very aware of Angels, Cherubs, Seraphims, she reads

Scripture every day, she attends services, Temples, Synagogues, she is a

Holy Woman and and knows what an Angel is, and there he is in her Kitchen

her Garden, her heart racing, first with fear and then with anticipation.

Plunge yourself into that moment as you say your Hail Marys.

Feel and Taste everything, the wind, the light, the colours, the movements and then!....

The Angel, his wings beating, eyes of flame, his whole countenance, his image is there in

front of her.

Rosary 1000 What is it

Have you read St Faustina's diary, have you heard how she used to meditate on the Rosary and say 1000 Hailmarys a day.
1000 a day, how can we even begin and where do we start. It is one of those tasks you might find too difficult.
To help us we broke it down, think 50 Hail Marys per mystery, and you might consider this task a little easier.
Yes of course include the Our Father, and the Glory Be, and the Fatima Prayer, let them guide you. It is a task, perhaps this will be your aide memoir, your way of helping you, us to say those 1000 Hail Marys.
A great saint, St Catherine, said 1000 Hail Marys on Christmas Eve.

Saint Catherine .

We hope you enjoy it, you should enjoy it and love it, and learn from it, and may be even write a blog about it. Your experiences, your joys what you discovered. God Bless.
